The National Conference of Health Workers (NHWS2023) held in Mogadishu

The National Conference of Health Workers (NHWS2023) held in Mogadishu brought together various stakeholders, including the Somali National Union of Healthcare Workers (SONUH), government officials, members of parliament, international organizations, directors of the Ministry of Health, the Somali Health Association, health professionals, policymakers, and other health stakeholders from across the country.

The closing ceremony of the conference was attended by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Dr. Ali Haji Adam, and the Minister of State for Health, Dr. Maryam Mohamed Hussein, along with other federal ministers. It provided an opportunity to discuss and address key issues, challenges, and strategies related to healthcare in Somalia.
